Africology Website Launch Party at Madiba Harlem Oct 18th!



Join us for a memorable night in Harlem as Tigist Selam (International actress, writer and filmmaker), Sahr Ngaujah (Tony Award nominee), and Gbenga Akinnagbe (best known for his role as Chris Partlow on the HBO original series The Wire) host the Africology Website Launch Party

New York City, NY – Africology Media comes together with Mabida Enterprises to introduce a new brand of Afropolitan living to the uptown Harlem community.


Next Saturday Africology will launch its new online platform alongside the Harlem pre opening of famed Ft. Greene, Brooklyn restaurant, Mabiba. Guest appearances by The Real Sheba, Chosan, Melvis Santa, Wunmi, Siji, Baja + More. Also featured are sets by FON Sound System, DJ Sirak, and DJ Ouaga.


A particular goal of the event is to raise awareness and funding opportunities for Africology’s partners in social responsibility: The Foundation for Art in Motion and the Batey 106 Art Project; and I Sell The Shadow, an organization founded by award winning filmmaker Lisa Russell.


The event will take place on Saturday October 18th, 2014 from 8pm-4am at Madiba Harlem’s new location: 46 W116 street, New York, NY.
